To support our growth, we are looking for a Director or Senior Director-level research consultant to join our leadership team. Consultants at Beta Hat are responsible for the thinking that actively shapes recommendations and decisions for our clients. We are seeking creative problem solvers with a strong quantitative research background and a passion for video games and technology. You will leverage multiple resources and approaches and apply rigorous critical thinking skills to shape outputs that transform our clients' brands and businesses.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, we are looking for someone who brings stellar quantitative research skills but also understands how to apply other methodologies and disciplines such as qualitative research, design research, business intelligence, and brand strategy. We need a self-starter who is comfortable working on all stages of the research process, from networking and capabilities discussion to crafting proposals, questionnaires, narrative-driven deliverables, and participating in key research activities in order to foster and grow client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead consulting and research engagements from initial meeting through report delivery

• Assess the feasibility of scope and timelines for each opportunity

• Review and improve reports and deliverables, with direction from the lead consultant

• Work with clients as a thought partner

• Generate new ideas for thought leadership research and syndicated research projects

• Present results to clients and manage all follow ups

• Provide sound advice to clients and can confidently handle client contact independently

• Demonstrate the ability to lead through independent thought

• Juggle multiple priorities seamlessly

• Thrive in high pressure situations

Minimum qualifications

• At least 2 years client side in an analytical role plus 5 years of supplier side experience

• Must clearly articulate your X factor
